What were the challenges we faced?
In order for the client to create an eCatalogue for prospective buyers, an eCommerce website was required.As a result, only authorized customers should be able to access the site in order to prevent competitors from stealing or copying the designs. Only after the admin approves his registration can the buyer access the storefront.Furthermore, the client had requested that the administrator create a lightbox for the registered buyer where his products could be displayed and only some of their links could be shared with the buyerIn addition, the client noted that he wanted to set up a lightbox for the registered buyer where the admin could display only some of his products' links to that buyer. Light-boxes are deactivated automatically at the end of an expiration period.
The solutions we offered
Our team designed a single brand eCommerce store with restricted website store-front access for registered, verified, and approved buyers based on the custom developments requested by the client.Buyer registration was made a closed process, where the registration form was shared with the admin for his approval and verification.Upon approving a user's registration, the administrator could create a lightbox and set expiration dates on product links. Users were notified by email at the email addresses they registered. When the buyer clicks on that link, he or she can see the products that have been shared with him and can query for any product.A buying process was not included in the solution.
